International House Bucharest (IHB) has the privilege of announcing the official launch of its CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) Training Centre.
Having operated as a de facto Teacher Training Centre providing regular IHC (International House Certificate) courses since its inception, as well as IHCYLT (International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers) courses since 2005, IHB has now proudly become the University of Cambridge’s partner in offering the CELTA course for teachers of English as a second language.
We have thus joined the elite group of over 300 centres partnering up with Cambridge Assessment English in 70 countries around the world, and have become one of the 58 CELTA Teacher Training Centres which International House World Organisation (IHWO) has globally and where 4,000 teachers take their CELTA each year.
Our membership in the IHWO, the network of 160 language centres in over 50 countries which initiated in 1962 the teacher training course that laid the basis for the CELTA, guarantees the world-class quality of the teacher training we provide, while our experienced international trainers are set to equip you with the professional teaching skills you need.
So from now on English teachers who are eager to get the prestigious, worldwide recognised qualification will be able to do so by enrolling on and completing the 4-week, 120-hour course at the IHB CELTA Teacher Training Centre.
We look forward to training you!
